Hello There!

My name is Tanisha Palensky, I am the creator and photographer behind Pearl Moments Photography. I specialize in newborn, children, couples, maternity, family, high school seniors, business branding, and wedding photography. I have been providing lasting memories for families in the Columbus, NE area since 2013. 

I am a wife to my amazing husband, AJ and together we have three beautiful children. My step-son Josh, our beautiful daughter Kylie Brielle and our sweet little girl Kaitlyn Jo! We also have the most loving 14 year old dog in the entire World named Rhemmy. When I'm not behind the camera you will most likley find me at our family lake in Cedar Rapids, making so many memories! I call it my happy place! I love all things pink, enjoy decorating and picking up a good book when I have the time. Cheering on the Huskers brings excitment in my life, (I just wish our football team would have a few more wins, haha).  All music genres are the language of my heart, and dance is my lifelong love and passion- I will never hang my dance shoes up. Being outdoors is what I live for..... I love to boat, swim, hunt/fish, golf, and just soak in the sun all while enjoying it with family and friends! I always try to remind myself, "Life is to short, so always have fun, laugh and enjoy every minute with a smile!"

I try to create a fun and unique experience for every session that I capture. I love photographing at sunset with that beautiful golden light.  I like to consider my work to be bold and colorful as I love rich hues and bold textures while still offering a timeless look that you will adore for many years to come.  I am constantly learning, reflecting new ideas and inspirations, and love hearing what you as clients would like incorporated into your photographic experience! 

Photography has become my passion and the creativity makes my heart so happy! I pour my soul into every single portrait. I love capturing special moments and turning them into everlasting pearl moments that can be cherished forever!
